I Just Wish That David Hicks Would Elope With Yana Pittman's Knee And Disappear

It's like Spring already, the days are warm and balmy, there's a whiff of scent in the air, and the Olympics are on in Athens, I just wish for the sake of News that David Hicks would elope with Yana Pittman's knee and disappear...

That Abortion Of The Law In Guantanomo Bay Proceeds, How Sick The Great American Society Is Now

That abortion of the law in Guantanomo Bay proceeds, how sick the Great American Society is now, what a come down, to be in the pits as to the being popular... And another Doco type movie called Corporation has revealed the sickness behind it all, where un-elected rotten eggs run  Capitalism into the muck...

Australia Announces An Intermediate Range Missile System To Out Gun All The Locals In The Pacific

And then Australia announces an intermediate range missile system to out gun all the locals in the Pacific, saying the tensions in Korea and Taiwan are the worry, what psycho babble is this...

It Was A Good August

I have been thinking about how so many good things fell into place this last few weeks, it was a good August and so I was happy, and the dog is good, the music is good, my friends are good, going out is good, and the Old Canberra Inn is turning into my local... And I already have spent, like I called into the Supabarn for a pie and spent $200 on impulse buys, and it's all so sweet...

I Get The Feeling There's A Swing In The Air, If Andrew Wilke, My Hero, Gets The Vote In Benelong, Awesome

Things look good in coming to terms with the last little bit of history, seems we've had 30 years of conservative swing that maybe is coming to an end, I spose the pendulum has to swing back... We were talking about how could Capitalism Collapse, it seems to represent a nest of cuckoos, mouths open, consumers, who want to be fed, competing for the scarce resources, and capitalism seems to do the job resorting back to the laws of the jungle, but with heavy cost penalties in fairness and equity, so the rich rule and get richer while the majority wallow and fall back and get less and less, life becomes a hassle, where's the cotton wool of the welfare state gone? So now I get the feeling there's a swing in the air, the USA will kick George Dubya-Dubya-III  out, as will England dispose of the Tony B Liar, and Australia will dump the Little Twit, maybe even cost him his seat if Andrew Wilke, my hero, gets the vote in Benelong, Awesome and absolutely amazing...

The Scariest Thing About The Democracy Here In Australia Is The People Who Vote

The scariest thing about the democracy here in Australia is the people who vote and where they get their ideas from, you hear them in street walks and phone ins and with idle chatter around the pubs and clubs, that's the scary thing, there's an electorate informed by TV and the other media, and how distorted and packaged it is to their age groups and such, they never get to hear any other packaging really, and then there's the urban myths type of stuff where the peer pressure and being accepted is in control of their minds, so when the voters number their squares, there's a whole lot of prejudice and lies and misleading garbage that's wired up in their poor little  heads...

The Huge Abyss Between The Me People, The I Am's, As Against Those Who Feel For A Society, Us And We

The whole democracy thing is hijacked by spinners trying to distort it all, so there's a turn off, but still little catchcries sit in their heads for when the talk around their friends needs to fit in... But there still seems to be that divide, the chasm, the huge abyss between the Me People, the I Am's, as against those who feel for a society and group benefits, and more of an Us and We, who have to fight against the greedy, while the greedy pooh pooh and bully those below and grovel to those above, they usually have a Messiah complex, that hanging their star on to some shining idol will see them through, they become cheerleaders and fanclubs and one-eyed and red-necked, like Bush Blair and the Little Twit's Coalition of the Coercives... Whereas the other caring side are seen as tree huggers and watermelons, with green on the outside and red on the inside and get compared to communist idealists from the last great clash of civilisations...

These Election Campaigns Leave Me Cold Now, I Just Can't Cop It

So these election campaigns leave me cold now, I just can't cop it, the machine men spin in their tops and the busy workers try to impose their sloganised messages into the letter boxes, and the remote controls switch it all off as quick as a wink...

What Else Is There To Be Iconoclastic About And Bring In Some Black Humour

So what else is there to be iconoclastic about and bring in some black humour, spose there's Tiger Woods losing No 1 to another non-white Vijay Singh? But then this bloke I heard on Mitochondrial DNA traces seems to indicate a very close relationship within the current human family that show how intimately related we all are through every reproduced cell in our bodies, it's just the environment that living things adjust to, the light and temperature and seasons that caused some local adaptations to shine through, and now golf and money has overcome some little of the prejudices... He says we are all from the one family who left Africa to ruin the rest of the planet...

Nature's Way Of Punishing The USA With Hurricanes And Such, So Nature Is Saying Sign Kyoto Or Die...

One good thing has been nature's way of punishing the USA with Hurricanes and such, maybe some message from the skies will sink in through their numbskulls, it's too late anyway really... To think that Americans would support such an idiot as George Dubya-Dubya-III  shows that ridiculous truism that they vote for someone as silly as they are and shy away from any form of intellect, it took the other qualities of Bill Clinton to make him the lovable rogue... But the George Dubya-Dubya-III  people seem to have bought that Knee-Jerk bossiness that they aspire to themselves, and look at how dangerous it is, those conventions are corrupted so, when will they ever learn? So nature is saying Sign Kyoto Or Die...

The More Intelligent Voter Will Be Putting Greens First And Labor Second And The Conservative Tory Bullies Last

Anyway the election campaign rolls on regardless, the rusted on voters on either side of the thin little bridge over the great wedge are being wooed and the rest ignored really, taken for granted, the scare mongering is out to demonise the Greenies, and the National Party is dying because the Greenies are capturing their vote for the betterment of all, it's strange the way influence of the well-off, the moralists over the illegal war, and the futurists who see the environment as the most important thing there is, the Space Ship Earth People, those more imaginative might end up having the biggest say in this election, cause with compulsory preferential voting here in Australia you have to number your preferences in order and so the more intelligent voter will be putting Greens First and Labor Second and the Conservative Tory Bullies last...

I Heard Where The Human Clones Could Be Produced But Not The Brain Wiring, The Myriad Connections To Make A Personality

Talking of wiring up heads, I heard where the human clones could be produced but not the brain wiring, the myriad connections to make a personality, and then the big threat in the future of the aging population and Alzheimer's fatty deposits and the shrinking brain and intellect, leaving people vegetating in costly nursing homes, that's if they're lucky? Cripes, it's hard to forget this is happening... But then come to think of it, there is a cloning of the brains as well with Memes, those evil religious rules passed on in families to their infant brains, wiring in the prejudices, intolerance and stupidity we all have to suffer from, like the So-Called Liberal Party in Australia...

The Days To Come In Nursing Homes When They Build Bus Stops To Let People Think They're Leaving

So there's a bloke yesterday claiming that most of the things you can do to help resolve and put off OldTimers disease, and one after another the lifestyle choices can keep the brain more intact, and they were all mostly enjoyable like a bottle of red, and a physical coordinating brain activity like learning the fiddle and the dog running, I took Gumma out again yesterday running with the bike, we did 20k around the Lake and she loves it, and keeping up an interest like politics, and tuning in like the radio, and now more reading, my latest book is such a saga, the Sea Garden, it is so investigative and emotional in another world, but gets me in, so the days to come in Nursing Homes when they park a car in the grounds for Sunday Drives going nowhere, and build Bus Stops to let people think they're leaving, busses that never come, well Ummm, I forget what I was gonna say...

The Festival Had All The Elements This Time, The Saturday I Was In A Session In The Middle Of The Pub

The festival had all the elements this time, I spent the Friday on the log outside the pub, chatting to locals, bloke in yellow and black on a colour matched big bike toy, and the locals and then a string of schooners and I dunno, oh yes we had a session in the street with Tim and Big Size6X on Harp Harmonica, and the Saturday I was in a session in the middle of the pub, drinking and the Bluegrass guru with banjo was practicing, and then the session built up and this 14 yo kid did his thing as well, and then Bonsai and Puck turned up and we had that repartee from the old Merc up in Sydney, and it was good being there, and then we sat around the Bowlers to see bluegrass and falling asleep...

Put The Harness On Gumma And Stuck Her In The Back Seat, A Lovely Day, Beautiful

I buggarised around with the computer all morning, and then made a list and then went out put the harness on Gumma and stuck her in the back seat, a lovely day, beautiful, so I went down and filled up after the Festival weekend, $66 at new high price, and we went down town, she was canoodling me half the time, just can't settle down...

With The New Dog Whistle, I Went Over To The Music Shop And Found A Work Experience Kid Polishing A Guitar

So I went in to the Pet Food place, palace? And got all this pet stuff, $150, jesus, and then with the new dog whistle, I went over to The Music Shop and found a work experience kid polishing a guitar, ad infinitum, eventually it was clean enough... And he went and got another kid, who brought $850 worth of pickup pre-amp and cord out on the counter, I cut it back to something reasonable, like a cheap pickup, and got back into the car with Gumma being expansive...

I Let Her Out And She Went Berserk, Doing A Lot Of Sheep Dog Trials With Me

So we went down the Lake to the Carillon and I let her out and she went berserk, doing a lot of sheep dog trials with me to start with and then went on these big flat out sweeps and got wet, jesus, and I tried the very expensive dog whistle on her and she never heard it, and would come back anyway after being 200 m out of range...

She Went And Rounded Up A Few Joggers

She went and rounded up a few joggers and waited till they made a move and called her in, so she doesn't bother them till they make a fuss, and then she comes back straight as an arrow at 100 miles an hour and just dodges to miss me, so I took in the air there for a while, and tried making her roll over cause she was wet, with the whistle too, no good, I didn't have the dog lolly stuff, she obeys when she gets rewards, Hmmmm...

What A Wonderful Afternoon When You Get Stuck In Canberra's Peak Hour Traffic

So we went back up Northbourne and listened to Solly give over to the Cowboy on 666, and thought how good Canberra is, what a wonderful afternoon when you get stuck in Canberra's peak hour traffic, when you cruise along, stuck in Drive 666, through the avenues of trees and parks and chatter and think Oh good there's a bus up ahead, I can get stuck behind that, and just have a talk with Gumma, let her have a go at gnawing my arm off... So I ought to go for a drive in peek hour traffic on every good afternoon, just for fun...

There Was The Old Canberra Inn

And then there was the Old Canberra Inn and I thought I should have a command for Gumma which was Behave, where she turns into a good dog and stays quiet and waits and goes serene, but I went in anyway and had a couple of beers while Gumma waited in the car, I went out between hearing the stories... And the music at the pub will continue, they are getting reasonable crowds so they said...

I Wont Lissen, I Will Just Create

And then back in the music room, I tried out that pickup on the fiddle, and then I put 5 CD's on random and a tape and blasted away, it's good, I think it's all recording, but I wont lissen, I will just create... Nothing worse than hearing yourself... Anyway now I can plug into an amp most anywhere's...

I Should Play Louder, Well Coming From Him, A Guitarist

Cause at the Festival, Tezza finally sat out with us on the footpath and played in the sessions, and inside later I played all day, and he sat behind me and lissened, and said I was now good enough and I should play louder, well coming from him, a guitarist, one of those who sit with dribble out both sides of the mouth means the stage is level... He said I should play louder!!!

Don't Know, Could Go Either Way, But Sentiment Was With The Greens And Labor

Well all the talk up at the Festival about the Australian Election was basically Don't Know, could go either way, but sentiment was with the Greens and Labor, and there was not a bad word really for Latham's Labor, but there was a heap of derision for the Little Lying Licking Liberal, so much has come out of the dirty tricks politics the So-Called Liberal Party has used, and the marginal seats being fought for with clashing candidates makes for interesting comments and little to do with policy, there's bribery in the air and lots of people are unhappy with the Government, and the Nationals are about to disappear you'd think, and now Pauline I'm Baaaack is Baaaaack and already shows a quota for her in Queensland, it's all weird and woolly, like Pauline's eye's and Pauline's hair...

Labor Looks The Goods This Time, They've Reverted And Revealed Some Old Labor Leanings

But to my mind Labor looks the goods this time, they've reverted to a real Opposition position, none of that stupid small target crap, they've announced policies and they've revealed some old Labor leanings with abolishing Work Place Agreements and bringing back Central Wage Fixing and bolstering the Commissions, and Health is being made Universal again hopefully, and Public Schools are being supported at last, and the focus of the Defence Forces will be back in out local front yard, not all over the place with Mad George Dubya-Dubya-III  going off half cocked...

You're Out On Your Own George, With Your Illegal Pre-Emptive War

And with the Americans we've seen so much Anti-Bush revelations, it's so scary how those Ratbag Republicans have dosed up their hysteria with right wing propaganda, and now Fox is in the firing line too, there's so many whistle blowers coming out to drop the Bush Admin in the poo, it's fabulous really, today Bush spoke at the UN and got stony silence, and no takers to help out in Iraq, You're out on your own George, with your illegal pre-emptive war, and the audience reaction contrasts with the football cheerleader type reception he gets in his religious revival rantings... So that's good news, and John Kerry has been articulating the real American/Iraq situation finally and also drops Bush in the poo, poor Goofy George, he's pretty smelly right now...

Now We Have These Executions Of The Kidnapped, And We Sit And Watch Till The Gory Bits Are Cut

Seems to me that sentiment changes from the media images in wars, like all the horror sights from Vietnam, the burning girl, and the street execution, and now we have these executions of the kidnapped, and we sit and watch till the gory bits are cut, but I hear the whole butchery is being shown and sold in video stores on the holy market principles I guess, but those images, and the pleas to be let live, and the Pollies having to sound resolute and condemning the victims to death, just makes them look like the heartless headaches they are...

The Little Rodent Looks Rattled Now With The Barbie Talk Going Against Him

The Little Rodent looks rattled now with the barbie talk going against him, it's funny how the lips unzip when the tide turns, and the same with the USA now having a Celebrity cheer squad lining up for the Democrats, there's a swing in the air, and the rednecks blathering is just that, blithering bluddy boofheads at last, and the humour is at the root cause too...

Taking The Mickey Out Of The Little Mouse Is Becoming The Done Thing

Taking the mickey out of the Little Mouse is becoming the done thing, and of course Bush is his own worst enemy, he's the greatest recruiter for El Qieda and is the butt of so many derisive jokes, that's the way for the intelligentsia to win and put some decency back into Government of the Coalition of the Dills, and how can the Rednecks make jokes ever anyway...

Costello Will Cop The Biggest Back Stab Since The Dean Martin And Jerry Lewis Duo, Abbot And Who?

Look at the Treasurer going Absolutely Overboard in the song and dance with Shadow Treasurer Simon Crean, the Dog reckons he loves Simon, Oh what a scream, I hope we all got it... Actuoooly Simon  made mince meat of the Dog and de-glorified all the magic moments in the Dog's own mind, even taking off a poor mimicry of Paul Keating, he certainly hasn't risen as a souffle... Matter of fact, Costello is a huge liability for the So-Called Liberals and wont ever make leader, and will cop the biggest back stab since the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis duo, Abbot and who?
