Weather Warnings Again
There's weather warnings again, lot of thunder and hail up north, it never lands in the catchment down here, seems there's a rain shadow developing, although I can remember having line squalls, southerly busters come up the coast every summer afternoon once, seemed like clockwork, but now it's all extremes in the weather... Whoops there's an iceberg where it shouldn't be, or should it, it's natures way to get rid of plagues, and to nature, mankind is a plague... I'd say more likely to hurt us all more than just George Dubya-Dubya-III 's own privatised war on Tourism...

A Good Reason To Celebrate
But the summer solstice had been just a few days before so that was a good reason to celebrate, that's from the Earth's tilt and providing the seasons we've evolved with, and then we talked how the xmas dinner in the middle of summer was a botch up, cause it's supposed to be in the dead of winter as it was in the Northern Hemisphere, so the whole question of xmas in Australia is a cock up anyway...

Tsunami Hit The Headlines
And then the tsunami hit the headlines, all that destruction from a natural movement in the thin crust of the planet, two plates rubbing and slipping, they reckon the tip of Achet has gone 38 metres South West, and suddenly the world was aware of these coastal living areas right around the Indian ocean, a precarious place in earth's history, cause this tsunami is hardly rare in geological time, I remember hearing about a house sized rock up on the golf course in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, they say it came off the sea cliffs several kilometres away...
