Why For Christ's Sake Can't We Have Celebrations Of The New Year In Spring

The silly season comes along again, the ridiculous xmas traditional garbage gets rolled out, ad nauseum, in the middle of summer, why for christ's sake can't we have celebrations of the new year in Spring in the Southern Hemisphere, that is something real and substantial, rather than this primitive crap that gets the world nowhere, bah humbug... The only thing to be looking forward to is watching the Englishmen suffer in the heat when cricket gets played, such a joy to cruise in the aircon while they are out there suffering, all decked out in face creams and sunglasses, which probably puts their sense of perspective out of shape, but dropped catches are the only magic moments now...

The Labor Party Has Turned To Kevin Rudd

Today the world changed, back to the future, the Labor Party has turned to Kevin Rudd to take the leadership baton from Big Kim Beazley, poor Kim was just too much of an act, and he committed the sins of saying how meaningful things were when everyone got the impression he wasn't, it's like saying how you think you are funny, so here comes Kevin, he looks like a Scandinavian type, blonde hair, but dreadfully xtian, but not of that complete ratbag fundy type, so with him is Julia Gillard, a woman, committed and clever, seems it's the swing over to the left wing more so than those Me-Too types that have held Labor back and kept it unelectable, so I can only hope and my good tells me this is move to the good, and the future has a little more hope in it...

There's That Redhead Pauline Hanson, Yeah, This Time I'm On Her Side

Funny little period in politics, Kevin Rudd just swans in and takes over and they all sit up and take notice, and there's that redhead Pauline Hanson, yeah, having another go on Immigration and this time she'll be on a winner saying how migrants should fit in and not bring in diseases, this time I'm on her side... What a turnaround...

So Good To Be An Atheist, It's Sane, It's Having Sanity And Wisdom And Knowing And Satisfaction

It's just so good to be an atheist, it's sane, it's having sanity and wisdom and knowing and satisfaction, like I know that there many levels of intelligence but the more saner you are is correlated with atheistic, you can do all the admiring and awe and being impressed and but to stay engrossed in wonder is far more satisfying than some superstitious primitive delusion...

What A Wonderful Word, "Delusion", To Stick Against God

What a wonderful word, "Delusion", to stick against god, cause you have this damned acknowledgment using the word god as if it was something real when it's just an imaginary stupid manipulative part of human natures imagination, like Tooth-Fairy and Santa, anyway science is now refuting all those idiocies they pass off as religion, as well, that weird classification that bit time religions get, some kowtowing to the masses of idiots in case you hurt their twisted feelings, well that special status of religion has to be put down, and don’t ever acknowledge there's anything but stupid primitive ritual and buffoonery when the influential try to push the religion button, they're evil cause nothing they say is substantiated by scientific proof...

The Developed Consuming Advanced 1st World Is Where The Cuts Should Be Made

Profits of Doom, are now in the majority it seems, I just heard a bloke doing the population figures and saying as of now we need 3 1/2 Earths to carry what we have, and how the logic of it all really means the developed consuming advanced 1st world is where the cuts should be made and how the cuts will be made whether we like them or not, and he went into the horrible future of restrictions and meters and cut off valves and allocations and rationing... It is true though that the future will be bleak, and there will be a new war over supplies, or is it that same old war that gets faced everytime humanity wipes out another so-called garden of eden... But the facts keep piling up with that huge crack in the ice shelf of Antarctica growing, and the firestorms in Victoria, right now, and these things are showing up on the satellite images...

Flew Over China The Other Day, And There Is Massive Human Creep

I flew over China the other day, and there is massive human creep, like just above Hong Kong the development goes out into the mainland like a rivers of roofs and roads, its gigantic development, awesome... I still fly over that which has good photography but you see this spread of the human cancer and nature devoured...

The Holy Grail Of Growth Has Spored Expansionism

I have been lissening to the Boyer Lectures from McFarlane the ex-Gov of the Reserve Bank, and he's done his homework and listed out the trials and errors of economic management since WW II, and all the ups and downs and fights for control against the Holy Market, and the evolution of Throwing out just about everything cept setting interest rates... So there's a smugness that reform of the system has reached a point where he boasts of unprecedented years of Expansionism... So the Holy Grail of Growth has spored Expansionism and the ever more dependence on growth, growth, the thing is when does it stop? When does enough is enough take place? Is it when the carrying capacity runs out? With the ever approaching Easter Island effect for the whole planet? The land is desert, the seas are barren sludge, and the atmosphere is wild and wilful, and the population is reducing to scratch misery, and the harvests of Global Heating drown the cities and there be one awful great big crash... Where's the idea of Expansionism fit into that scenario of the future, the planet that ate itself out, consumed itself to death...

That Day Somewhere In The Future When The Last Human Draws A Tortured Breath

One of the great story endings apart from the Universal beginning and end, is the end of human history story, that day somewhere in the future when the last human draws a tortured breath, what will the Earth be like on that day? What will be the result of all this intelligence being put to use by the human animal, where will all their morals and delusions be then? I would love to know but not necessarily be there... I would like a glimpse of the future, but my own imagination hasn't got a trace of optimism, I think the optimists are the problem...

The Best Thing To Do

Kev Who? But He's A Winner For Labor I'd Say

It rained a bit last night, weird weather, such a preoccupation, the cricket is on again so I get half absorbed, and then it's silly season to avoid, so everything comes to an end, cept Kev and Julia finishing off their road show to the voters, Kev who? But he's a winner for Labor I'd say, only bad thing is the xtian bit, but he seems to be playing the card there I spose cause he doesn't give that Fundie feeling... When he first went for the xtian vote it was cause at the time it seemed the redneck right wing had stolen the march... But now religion is really under attack from the sectarian world, it's out of the closet to be atheist and criticise these primitive uneducated wankers, a whole host of scientists and intellectuals have come out with pooh poohing books against religion and the reviewers are so obvious when they put down the atheists

The World Trade Towers, How's That For A Slap In The Face Of America

Irony again, they are talking of hanging Saddam, while George Dubya-Dubya-III  goes unpunished, and George Dubya-Dubya-III  has had killed more Arabs than Saddam, as well as more USA soldiers than the number killed in the collapse of the World Trade Towers, how's that for a slap in the face of America, the Terrorist within is their own dumb xtian Neo-Con President, what a wank it all is... They ought to swap places, George Dubya-Dubya-III  for Saddam, America deserves him...

I Bet The Rope Was Made In China

Another death you can hang on the nail of religious horror, Saddam Hussein put to death by god of the xtians, what a stinking dirty rotten pack of idiots they are, they are forever going about killing people in the name of their cruel and despotic god ideas, such a primitive superstitious load of crap to burden the modern world with, it's disgusting, I somehow feel dreadful to think that the West, with all it’s claims to civilisation stoop so cruddy low as to take life and kill people instead of morally talking out their problems, so the whole xtian bigotry gets trotted out, like those ten commandments mostly have death as a penalty, stoning, so barbaric... The USA under George Dubya-Dubya-III  is the most barbaric country because they should know better and let themselves be brow beaten and bible bashed into this lunacy, what a pack of turds they are... I will never buy American again... Stuff their capitalism, they can shove it, I bet the rope was made in China...
